Rosemary Hayse (May 1, 1932 – August 25, 2018) went to be with her Lord and Savior on Saturday, August 25, 2018.  She is survived by her niece Peggy Packard, son in-law David Littman, brother Robert Shepherd (Masel), daughter in-law Shelley Hayse, stepson Jimmy Hayse, grandchildren Reggie (Sandy), Jason (Andrea), Bradley (Kristen), 9 great grandchildren and many nephews and nieces.

Rosemary lived in Fortville on Illinois Street for many years.  She enjoyed riding motorcycles, helping with Jim’s trucking company and helping raise her stepsons Russell and Jimmy.  She loved her daughter Kelly very much and did everything in her heart for her.

She worked at and retired from Western Electric on Shadeland Avenue in Indianapolis. She later cared for her sister June Mollenkopf.  She loved to cook, take care of others and her life was that of service at her childhood church, Grandview Church of the Brethren (Beech Grove).  Her passion in life was to make sure that everyone knew and followed her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ.  She was preceded in death by her husband, James; Mom and Dad; daughter, Kelly; step-son, Russell; sister, June; and brother, Harold and was looking forward to seeing the whole family and friends once again in Heaven.

Services will take place on Thursday, August 30 at Grandview Church of the Brethren, 9064 W. Grandview Blvd, Pendleton from 10:00a – 11:30a with the funeral following at 11:30a, IN 46064.  Graveside services will follow at Gravel Lawn Cemetery.

In honor of Rosemary, contributions can be made to the Grandview Church of the Brethren or the Alzheimer’s Association.

Rosemary was such a dear friend to our family. We always sat next to her at church. She always had a smile for everyone. We will miss her dearly but know she is with the Lord and is no longer suffering.

Rosemary was simply the Best! She was a true Proverbs 31: 10-31 woman
Verse 31:29 “Many women do noble things, but you surpass them all”

I am happy for her that she is reunited with her family.
I loved her dearly and look forward to our reunion someday.

I am so sorry to hear of the death of Rosemary. The passing away of a loved one is always with much sorrow. May we have faith and confidence in the Bible’s promise of a time when pain, sickness and death are a thing of the past (Revelation 21:3, 4). My condolences are with the family at this difficult time.

My family & I loved Rosemary and her family very much. I grew up with Kelly, us young boys from the neighborhood would mow her yard, clean her pool and run to the grocery store for her. We have a lot of good times at her house. Blessings to all that knew her.
